Communications & Content Manager
Own Mosaico's voice across every channel (blog, LinkedIn, X, and Substack) and shape the CEO's personal brand as a founder and thought leader in robotics and Physical AI.
Mosaico is an open-source data platform for robotics and physical AI. We’re solving a hard infrastructure problem: the tools that exist today for storing, indexing, and retrieving high-frequency sensor data are either too primitive or too painful to work with at scale.
We’re building the missing piece, and doing it in the open. Apache 2.0 licensed, public roadmap, real community. We care about the codebase being something people actually want to read and contribute to, not just use. In Italy, companies that operate this way are still a rarity, and we think that’s exactly what makes this interesting.
We’re based in Reggio Emilia, working with teams in defence, automotive, and agritech, and we’re building a commercial offering on top of the open-source core.
The role
We’re looking for a Communications & Content Manager to own Mosaico’s voice across every channel. You will create and distribute content that reaches developers, researchers, and industry leaders in robotics and Physical AI, through the company’s blog, LinkedIn, X, Substack, and beyond.
A central part of this role is supporting the CEO’s personal brand. You will write content that sounds like him, think in his voice, and build his presence as a founder and thought leader in the robotics and AI space. This requires genuine empathy for how a person communicates, their rhythm, their opinions, their tone, and the craft to translate that into content that resonates.
You are part social media manager, part writer, part content strategist. You know how to make technical topics accessible without dumbing them down, and you understand that in developer communities, authenticity matters more than polish.
What you’ll work on
- Write and publish blog posts, newsletters, and long-form content for Mosaico’s official channels and the CEO’s personal profiles
- Manage the company’s presence on LinkedIn, X, and Substack, including scheduling, community engagement, and performance monitoring
- Develop and maintain the CEO’s personal brand: ghostwrite posts, threads, and articles in his voice, ensuring consistency across all platforms
- Identify, manage, and coordinate relationships with external content creators, influencers, and SMM collaborators, briefing them, reviewing output, and ensuring alignment with Mosaico’s tone and positioning
- Own the communications around company events: announcements, recap content, social coverage, and post-event amplification
- Contribute to the organisation of events where communications and logistics overlap
- Build and maintain a content calendar that keeps all channels active, consistent, and strategically aligned
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in content creation, social media management, or communications, ideally in a tech, startup, or developer-focused environment
- Strong writing skills in both English and Italian; you can adapt tone and format for a technical blog post, a LinkedIn thread, and a Substack newsletter without losing coherence
- Demonstrated ability to write in someone else’s voice: you listen carefully, absorb a communication style, and make it your own
- Familiarity with the rhythms of LinkedIn, X, and newsletter platforms: you know what works on each channel and why
- Genuine interest in technology, AI, or robotics: you don’t need to be an engineer, but you need to be curious enough to understand what you’re writing about
- Fluent in English and Italian, written and spoken
Nice to have
- Experience coordinating external creators, agencies, or freelance collaborators
- Background in video or short-form content production
- Familiarity with developer communities and how technical audiences engage with content
- Experience supporting event communications or on-site coverage
What we offer
- A creative role with real strategic impact at a company building infrastructure for the future of robotics
- Direct work with the CEO and significant influence over how Mosaico and its founders are perceived by the global developer and investor community
- Flexible hours, full remote with optional office access in Reggio Emilia
- Competitive salary, discussed openly based on your level and experience
- Welfare package
Salary range
€30K – 50K, adjusted based on location, experience, and level.
